DVD Review
J.D. Lafrance+Normally I’m not one to go in for Playboy DVDs. It’s not that I’m a reserved, easily offended kind of guy you understand, it’s that they’re all fluff and no action. Like the magazine itself, they skirt around the outside of adult entertainment, in favour of being a little more respectable, a little more, well, tame.
That’s not really my thing. If I’m going spend the best part of twenty quid on some adult entertainment, I’m going to want to be sure it delivers, and that kind of thing you can’t buy on Amazon… at least not yet.
So why did I bother with Carmella DeCesare’s Playmate of the year DVD then? Simple, she’s been pushed to the forefront of our minds on TV of late with the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) in their Quarter of a Million Dollar Diva search; a buxom of lovely ladies, all competing for cold hard cash, and a year frolicking around the ring with Torrie Wilson and Stacey Keibler. What a prize!
Carmella was the bad girl of the bunch, hated by the others and the crowd alike, yet still she made the final two. Why? Because she was so damn fine, that’s why. When I found she’d done Playboy, I just had to check it out.
It’s strange; had I seen the Playboy spread first, I wouldn’t have given it a seconds thought, but when I see someone on TV or film, and then find out they’ve done Playboy, I just have to investigate.
So, what’s the DVD like then eh? Strangely, for a Playboy DVD, it doesn’t half deliver on the stuff you want to see. There are some nice fantasy sequences, some beautifully shot scenes and Carmella looks great in all of them. I have to admit I was surprised at the level of graphic content, and nicely surprised at that. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a Playboy convert now, but I was expecting much less from the DVD.
Unfortunately we can’t display a gallery for this one, lord knows we tried to push one through, as that’s what you really want to see.
There is also a second segment to the DVD focusing on another girl, but that’s not what we watched the thing for. She’s more special features than main event.
If you’re a WWE fan, and more importantly a WWE Diva fan, this is something you really do need to see.
