Film lovers rejoice - at last a series of classic DVD boxsets that live up to the description AND at a great price.

Spirit Level's "Shouldn't you be watching..." series kicks off July 16th with £15.99 for six of the best...
Chinatown // Sunset Boulevard // Play it Again Sam // Rosemary's Baby // The Parallax View // The Warriors.

For almost a decade Spirit Level Film have been producing and distributing DVDs with just one criteria - love. Getting the "we have to love it" clause into distribution deals with the big studios has proven to be a major obstacle, until now.

"The trouble with DVD boxsets is there's always some padding - a couple of "not-so-greats" you'd happily save for somebody else's Christmas stocking" says Richard Symons, a director at Spirit Level, "You can have anything you want so long as you take the van Damme always finds it's way to the customer via a boxset. Not that we've got anything against van Damme - it's just we don't love his films. We've got a fantastic base of loyal customers because we genuinely love everything we sell, so if you like any one of our films it's more than likely you'll love them all. That's borne out by the six titles in our first sixpack - you'll be hard pressed to find any of them rated at less than 4.5 out of 5 anywhere. Studios have come to us from time to time with fantastic deals but always with strings attached so we're very excited to finally be given a free hand."

You can buy the sixpack at www.spiritlevelfilm.com
